Doesn't apply, and why
What this doesn't check
How this works

Every requirement here comes from a rule table where each line names its trigger (state, headcount, industry, activity), its citation, and the exact words in the rule that prove it. Tap Rule text to see those words; tap the citation to read the whole rule at its source.

A script re-reads every source each week and fails if the words change, a link breaks, a cited federal rule is amended, or a new OSHA proposal appears. A person reviews the whole table at least every 120 days.

Check for rule changes now (under More) asks eCFR and the Federal Register directly from your browser for anything newer than this page.

Everything you enter lives in the link after the #. Browsers never send that part to any server, so the facility name and headcount stay with whoever holds the link.

Headcount: OSHA counts some things per location (electronic reporting) and some company-wide (injury logs). Enter both when they differ.

This is a map to the rules, not legal advice. When a line matters, read the rule.

“A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself; but the simple pass on, and are punished.” Proverbs 22:3
